TOKYO MIRAI 2026

TOKYO MIRAI 2026

Run With Purpose. Arrive in Mirai.

After the success of its inaugural chapter, Tokyo Mirai returns in 2026, pushing further into the intersection of running culture, design, and future-forward expression. Hosted by Machina Libera, this multi-day experience transforms Tokyo into a living playground for endurance, community, and creative energy.

From February 26th to March 1st, 2026, Tokyo Mirai invites runners, brands, and cultural voices from around the world to gather, move, and reimagine the meaning of running not as performance, but as perspective.

A CULTURAL RUNNING EXPERIENCE

Tokyo Mirai is not just an event. It’s a statement.

Driven by the idea that “the future’s already weird, we’re just making it weirder, on purpose,” the platform merges endurance sport with art, retail, and community.

In 2026, Tokyo Mirai collaborates with Quaro, the official Tokyo Marathon 2026 café in the heart of Harajuku, a space where running culture meets contemporary design. Created by one of Japan’s leading architects, Quaro embodies a quiet precision: minimal, intentional, and deeply considered. More than a café, it becomes a pause between miles, a place where runners gather, conversations unfold, and the spirit of endurance extends beyond the streets of Tokyo.

FEATURED BRANDS

Tokyo Mirai 2026 brings together a progressive lineup of global and independent labels shaping the new wave of running culture, including: Bandit Running, District Vision, Alba Optics, &Moss, One track mind, notes running and also a capsule collection from Machina Libera. Each brand contributes to an evolving narrative, where performance meets identity, and running becomes a form of expression.

Designed for both athletes and cultural explorers, the four-day program blends movement and community:

JOSH LYNOTT "WALL OF NOTES"

Joining Tokyo Mirai 2026 as a special guest, Josh Lynott represents the spirit of new wave endurance culture.

Known for his run related poetry, Lynott embodies a new endurance with his mindfulness philosophy.

At Tokyo Mirai, he will engage with the community through runs, "Wall Of Notes", and pre race bib poet moments that reflect the evolving identity of the sport.

ARRIVE IN MIRAI

“Run with purpose. Arrive in Mirai.” Tokyo Mirai 2026 is not about chasing finish lines. It’s about redefining why we run, and who we become along the way.
